In 1962, the company purchased the Zwingle Telephone Company which added approximately another 80 subscribers to the base. Later in 1968, a new switchboard office and garage was built, and a 600 line Automatic Electric switchboard was installed. Toll free dialing to Dubuque was also established at that time. In the year 2000, the company built a 190' PCS tower in Bellevue, IA which provides cellular PCS service throughout the La Motte and Bellevue exchange areas. Wireless internet service to Bellevue is also provided from this tower. The company continues to grow and prosper financially, as well as develop and offer new services and the latest technology. In 2008, we rolled out Digital TV to the communities of La Motte, St. Donatus, Zwingle and Cottonville.
